Staff Role: ADMINISTRATOR

Meet the StaffStaff Roles » Admin Hub

Overview

Administrators (admins) are the top level of command on the Backrooms Wiki, above moderators and junior staff. They have taken a leadership role overseeing the different branches and manage staff processes. They are usually the ones deferred to when a decision should be made, such as calling a vote.

They are trusted members of the staff that possess almost all possible permissions on the wiki and discord alike, and some of them (two? at most) also own some of the sites (like the sandboxes) and discord (staff servers like the appeal one). They also have the power to give vetos if all admins agree on it, and can make a proposition be accepted if at least half of them agree on it.

There is a limit to how many admins the site can have. As of now, the limit is 5, and changing it requires a staff discussion. Furthermore, admins have to be at least 18 years old to ensure a minimal amount of maturity and rationality.

When looking at usernames on the wiki or on the server, it's possible to tell them apart with their blue names.
